Listening to all sorts of music, especially Mozart, Bach, Delius, Gershwin, Sondheim, Rogers and Hammerstein, Lerner and Loewe, Rogers and Hart, Cole Porter, Ellington, Basie, Diana Krall, Joe Pass (yes!), Wes Montgomery (make that a triple yes!), Errol Garner, The Band, Linda Ronstadt's early stuff, Yes, Natalie McMaster, Django Reinhardt, Martin Taylor, Ricky Skaggs, Doc Watson, John Williams (the classical guitarist).
Oh, and on occasion I have been known to sing along with ABBA. Please do not pass that on. |
