Hey guys, check this out. I've just uploaded a couple of chapters and it's already getting great reviews! But this one took my breath away.

"it was a really wonderful read. I strongly urge you to upload a much larger portion next time.

I loved your writing style. You are indeed a superb writer. You have great talent, without a shadow of doubt. There’s something rather grandfatherly or grandmotherly or patriarchal /matriarchal about your flourishes, witticism, irony, the lot. Personally I adored it all.

Some of your description in its simplicity was stunning. I am not overstating that! For example:
“There were many skulls bleached a ghostly white, housing schools of little silvery fish that swam in and out of where the eyes and mouths used to be.”
I found this outstanding. Others may disagree. I don’t care. For me this is totally brilliant description which, in it’s cute slick simplicity creates a most fabulous and imaginative image.

I thought your humour was terrific too. Made me giggle my socks off! You have a bold and super sense of humor in your writing. Rococo would rather have been a dragonfly than a crocodile, for example. Lovely!

I found it rather adult actually. I found it almost “Jonathan Livingstone Seagull”-esque. Thus, I was racking my brains in working out what age level kids this work would be appropriate for. On the one hand, it is a simple story with almost picture book images. Yes, it would truly make a gorgeous picture book. On the other hand, the humour is surreal, sophisticated, and for whom. The kids would probably not get the half. That can be good, because many times parents read for kids - and even Hollywood tries to make kids’ movies that adults can enjoy when they accompany their kids. I personally adored the jokes and ironies but I am sure the kids would miss a lot."
