Writing doesn't get any better than this. Human consciouness explored with immense sensitivity.

In my review I said the story made me feel, amongst so many other things, pity. I realise now that I was wrong. Compassion, and the recognition of the falibility of shared humanity, is what the story evoked in me. Truly memorable.
