Thanks the review, it helps to build up a mental picture of what happens in the reader's head.
I think writing is like riding horses (I did a lot of that out on the Pampas):
There are many different horses and they all have it in them to buck you off. The secret it to preempt them. Pull back on the reins and dig the heels in. Challenge them to buck you.
One of the things that YWO has done for me is to teach me when to do it with a reader as opposed to a horse.
I think in the original, you would have bucked me into the ditch.
Rev 1, I would be hanging onto your neck, and then only maybe.
Rev 2 would be break even.
Nice to know that with rev 3 I got you on my side.
