I have had a couple of articles, some letters and a few short stories published. I enjoy writing for competitions and, though I never win, I have been shortlisted once or twice. However, my main interest is children's literature, including picture books. So far I have not found a publisher for any of my children's stuff, but I live in hope. Though I am not a teacher, I have worked with young children for many years. I belong to two writers' groups and a reading group and edit a local newsletter. I am also very interested in gardening and history, including local history. I would love to hear from other children's writers. |
