Well, what do you know? A year ago I entered The Mail on Sunday Novel Competition, & I've just had a phone call to say I came fourth! I entered with a very early draft of Seaward from the Shore & had forgotten all about it, so this has come as something of a shock. Hopefully it's a far better piece of work now, so maybe I'm getting somewhere after all?! Anyway, there's going to be a piece in the MoS on 31st August about all the winners & I get a prize & an invite to lunch in September as well.
Sooo... a huge thank you to all of you (& there are loads) who helped me along the way.
