Please can anyone help. I have formatted my book, ready to send off to YWO but there's one thing bothering me. I don't understand the Gutter bit. What on earth is it? I am half afraid to follow the instructions in case I mess the whole MS up. Also, can the book be justified or does it have to be aligned to the left? Thanks for any help.

Hi Eileen. I'm afraid I don't know about such things either, but this link might help with the gutter thing.

That was really helpful, Danny. It's the space between two facing pages and now I understand what they mean by 'losing' some of the text if you don't set it up. Well done and thanks.
