After God knows how many rejections, about 70 query tries and 6 close-but-no-cigar responses, I finally secured an agent at Endeavor in NYC.

It happened a couple of weeks back, but I thought I might post and invite you lovely bunch to have a look at my blog. I was asked to do a deconstruction of the query letter. It was a fairly flawed letter, but it seemed to get several agent's attention. Anyway, I always thought it useful to see examples of things that were working as much as things that didn't work.

We're nearing a final revision and looking to begin the submission process during the first week of September. (So close!) Apparently, that's the beginning of the season. I'm so nervous I can't see straight.
