For those of you who don't know, the Nestlé Children's Book Prize finished in January (they stopped sponsoring).

But discussions, led by the Publishers Association, are afoot to start a Children's Booker.

Let's hope for some YWO authors on the inaugural shortlist

Hi Keith.
Thanks for informing us about this. Nestle I knew about but the new idea for Children's Booker, I didn't. Would be nice to see someone from YWO receive an award.

I've always regarded the Carnegie Award as the children's equivalent of the Booker
