Brisingr had too much chuckling in it

Did anyone else notice? All the time characters are chuckling, giving a low chuckle, another chuckle, again with a chuckle and then just for a change - closing his mouth and then chuckling!

There were also a lot of low laughs.

And one cringe sentence where someone told another character to "figure out" how to X. It was so out of place. Like Gandalf telling Aragon he''s "goin' to get ma drink on".

I am constantly surprised that publishers and editors do not use phrase count and word count programs to weed out all the chuckling and the like.

I hate chuckling characters. That is, I hate chuckles by characters who should have better ways to express themselves. Buncha dolts, I say. Have some respect for your characters.

Damn i hate these published and successful authors with their poorly written work....
