Hi

Have just uploaded Adios, Aurora rev 3 and would love some free willies.

Yes, I know the original is doing well, (16 on the chart today), but it is full of reviews from when the book had a very different structure.

I think this is a lot better as a result of some very helpful feedback, with a very appreciated contribution from JohnnyVee on the passive voice front. He went way beyond the call of duty.

Will exchange with whoever. All genres happily reviewed. My average review is over 1000 words and packed with insight and pompous statements of how I would rewrite your book... So it has to be a good deal!

Hi Andrew,

I have been meaning to read "Adios, Aurora" for some time so would be happy to do a swap for "The Price of Freedom" (Re-revised).
Like you I have done several re-writes over many months. The annoying thing is that despite trying to respond to comments, none of the rewrites (some of which I've subsequently deleted) have performed any better than Version 2 which got to 14th.
Whatever happens with this version, it will be the last, as I am now spending too much time on rewriting the opening chapters rather than getting on with the book. I am also beginning to feel that perhaps I'm not really writing what the "market" wants.

You are on.

I think you have to be careful with what you listen to when you amend. You are never going to nail 'em all IMO. But some critiques repeat again and again, regardless of the nature of the reviewer. By which I mean there are Fairy Godmother reviewers for your book and there are Cackling Hienas. And there is everything in between.

So if a FG says the same as a CH, you sit up and take notice. Otherwise, pinch of salt.

Remember with me it is Rev 3. The other two have very similar text, but I want the FWs on the rev 3 now. Keeps the slate clean.

Rev 2 will be deleted once the last review comes in (if ever...)

done my bit, looking forward to a brutal review from you. Please be as ruthlessly uncompromising as you possibly can.

I tried with your story. I really tried. But could only find minor fault. Well done, I am sure it will get published.
