When the majority work so hard on their reviews, it's awful that some people think they can get away with cutting and pasting any old rubbish. Well done, Ted, on such prompt action on one particular cheat.

Be warned the rest of you . . .

oh dear...(quickly dumps bog standard reviews).

Does that mean I have to read everybody else's work? All the way through? Couldn't they just read mine?

I second this. Thank you Ted for dealing with this matter so promptly. I was delighted to see that the review in question has vanished from my writer page (along with the low marks).

If they didn't read it, how did they pass the test? I've had to struggle with some tests, even after deep reading and extensive reviews.

Well, I have found that some people's tests are very easy - and, of course, you can pass a test even when getting 20% wrong.

I don't understand why Confession of the Panther Woman is still at number fifteen in the charts, still being assigned to members and still benefitting from reviews off the back of credits gained by under-hand methods.

The cancelling of the author's membership doesn't seem to have done him/her much harm

if you get his book assigned, just cut and paste a quick review and earn an easy credit.

I don't understand this at all. There seems to be no downside for the offender! It doesn't hurt him at all if he gets to keep all his ill-gotten gains. There are still 20 credits in hand and one attached.

What is most puzzling about this whole episode is why a talented author would stoop so low. Was it a game to see how long it would take to be found out?

I won't be playing the same game in retaliation and I hope nobody else will.

If you click on his name you go to the Home Page. Mischa is now a non-person.

Yes, but if you click on the book it is still available to read, assigned to a member for review and actually recieved a review yesterday. There are a further twenty credits attached to it.

He may be a 'non-person' but if he continues to get good reviews it is possible he will still gain one of the coverted critiques. Should that happen he is unlikely to have learned any sort of lesson.

And score 'appropriately'.
